On Thursday, November 16th between 8:00 and approximately 10:00 a.m. EST, we will be upgrading the UI of our dashboard and expect no customer impact during the upgrade. Following deployment of the new UI, there will be a window of at least one hour during which customers actively using the dashboard will be able to logout from their dashboard instance hosted on appboy.com or appboy.eu and login to their respective dashboard instance hosted on braze.com or braze.eu. For customers actively using the dashboard during this time window, an in-browser message will be pushed to the dashboard with the appropriate dashboard login link.

At 11 a.m. EST, any active sessions still connected to appboy.com or appboy.eu domains will be forcibly logged out and redirected to the appropriate braze.com or braze.eu URLs. Please ensure that you have saved your work and logged into the dashboard at the new ‘braze’ URLs by this time. There will be a series of in-browser messages that will serve as reminders and provide directions as we approach the cutover time.

Besides dashboard users being required to login to the new dashboard address, there will be no impact on any active campaigns, canvases or any other Appboy services or operations.

* Will my login be changing?
No. Your login credentials will not change. You’ll be able to log in to the Braze dashboard using your same email and password.

* Do I have to log in to the new braze.com dashboard URL from now on?
While your appboy login URL will automatically redirect to the braze.com login page, we recommend that you begin to use braze.com as a best practice. We will notify you at least 6 months prior to any deprecations.

* Is there else anything I need to do?
No. You’re all set!

* Will anything change with my archived or current campaigns or canvases?
No. Your old campaigns and canvases will remain intact, and your current campaigns and canvases will continue running.

* What should I do to ensure my work is not affected during this time period?
Simply logout of the “appboy” hosted dashboard and login to the “braze” hosted dashboard during the window between the UI upgrade and the redirect cutover (10 a.m. - 11 a.m. EST) and there will be no impact on in-progress work. In-browser messages will provide reminders and directions to help you with this process.
